Towards the end of last week officers from the local Selby NPT (Neighbourhood Policing Team) along with officers from specialist operations executed a drugs warrant at a business premises on Flaxley Road in the town centre.
On entering the address, an amount of what is suspected to be a class–A drug, drug paraphernalia and mobile phones were found and recovered.
A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class-A drug. He has since been released under investigation as our enquiries continue.
The use of illegal drugs has a detrimental impact on our communities and will not be tolerated.
